This Privacy Policy explains how Chadash, operator of the Biye app ("Biye", "we", "us"), collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our website and app at biyeapp.com.

Information we collect

• Account data: email address and authentication credentials.
• Profile data: display name, mobile phone number (only if you choose to enable SMS or phone-call check-ins), time zone, and notification preferences.
• Goal data: goals you create, schedules, check-in responses, streaks, and notes.
• Usage data: basic logs and diagnostics needed to run and secure the service.

How we use your information

• Deliver accountability check-ins on the schedule you configure.
• Operate, maintain, and secure the service.
• Respond to support requests.
• Comply with legal obligations.

We do not use your data for advertising or sell it to third parties.

SMS and mobile data

SMS check-ins are strictly opt-in. You must add your mobile number and check the SMS consent box on the Profile page before any text message is sent. Message frequency varies based on the goals you configure (typically 1–7 messages per week per goal). Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe, or HELP for help.

We do not share or sell mobile opt-in data or consent with third parties for marketing or any other purpose. See our SMS Terms and opt-in preview for full program details.

Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers that help us run Biye, under contract, and only as needed to operate the service:

• Twilio — telecom provider that delivers SMS and phone-call check-ins on our behalf.
• Supabase — managed database and authentication hosting for account and goal data.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Biye or its users.

Data retention and security

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion at any time (see "Your rights" below). We use industry-standard safeguards including encryption in transit and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data.

Your rights

You can access, correct, export, or delete your data at any time from inside the app, or by emailing support@biyeapp.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local laws (e.g. GDPR, CCPA).

Cookies and tracking

We use only essential cookies and local storage needed to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Children's privacy

Biye is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the app or via email. The "Last updated" date below reflects the current version.
